Quizno's

Incidentally, don't go to Quizno's.

I'd never been, but I went yesterday and it was pure crap. CRAP!

They show all these glorious toasted sandwiches boiling with cheese on toasted bread, but none of that was true!

They put my sandwich through a machine that breifly accosted it with minute amounts of heat, and totally did not toast the bread. The notion of cheese melting all over your meat (heheheheh) is completely false, because they put the cheese on the bottom. They have children make the sandwiches somehow! Children aren't supposed to work at night!

Also, the cup claimed the "restaurant" is based in Italian cuisine, but that's obviously not true from the shitty stupidity of the whole establishment. And the straws are too thin. You have to make a great effort to drink anything. They are very long.

I know this would have been more appropriate for ipisson.com, so maybe I'll write something funnier for that one time. Probably not.

  Accosted... seriously?
What the Oxford Dictionary of English has to say about "accost" :

accost |?'kôst; ?'käst|
verb [ trans. ]
approach and address (someone) boldly or aggressively : reporters accosted him in the street.
• approach (someone) with hostility or harmful intent : he was accosted by a thief, demanding his money or his life.
• approach and address (someone) with sexual intent : a man tried to accost the girl on her way to school.

Artistic License aside, which its use here is debatable, there certainly could have been a better word to use in describing the way in which your sandwich was–or wasn't–toasted. Please don't misuse the English language anymore than it already is.

You seem to understand what "Artistic License" means, yet here we are...
Definition: the freedom to create an artwork, musical work, or piece of writing based on the artist's interpretation and mainly for effect; also called poetic license, etc.

Example: Artistic license often provokes controversy by offending those who resent the reinterpretation of cherished beliefs or previous works.

It has even provoked controversy here, which makes the example completely apt! (As you seem to cherish the belief that the English language must be used according to strict rules and guidelines, in case you didn't get that far in understanding how the example fits). Go you!

PS - Oops, sorry! When I say at the end of the subject line above, "here we are", I don't mean that you and I are literally sharing a location. I meant that we needed to revisit the "definition" of "artistic license" together. I quoted "definition" because the phrase is colloquial, and therefore an artistic license of its own. I hope that the recursive aspect of it accosts you in your dreams. Thanks.

  I agree
I agree, as such I've decided to write to quiznos for you. Here is what I wrote:

Dear Quiznos,
Exactly where do you get off? How the fuck am I supposed to pleasure my butthole with chocolate sauces if all you can do is put cheese on the bottom of sandwiches and then let heat approach my bread. Also, your straws are ridiculous, how am I supposed to fit something that large over my penis and still have any feeling. I will not be visiting your establishment ever again, except to visit the pepper bar where I fill up on pepper juice to pleasure my anus.
