I entitled this one "Li's Shame" because of Li's fancy-pants sounding article on his site describing briefly that he has 4 screens on his desk.
One might say, "That is hardly newsworthy! Anyone could do such a thing!"
One would be right! This "one" would also not have seen my setup which is both grand and unnecessary (you might think). So now observe it in all its luminescent glory:
It is now where you would pose to me: "What in all the unholy donkeys in even the most grevious donkey-selling-places in the worst countries in all the terrible world would you need all those things for?"
And then I would print out the following picture, tape it to your face, and list a bunch of things:
1. My main gaming/dev computer's main screen.
2. My main gaming/dev computer's secondary screen.
3. My main dev/misc use laptop.
4. My main dev/misc use laptop's secondary screen.
5. My secondary gaming/dev computer (dual boots to Ubuntu).
6. TV! TV! Connected to my media center (across the room), to a cable box, and to a secondary media center on a KVM.
7. A research/MP3/video playing laptop.
8. A research laptop.
There you have it. Eight screens! I cannot imagine that Li will have any more than that! And if he procures more, then I will deploy my other two 17" LCD monitors!
Do you dare ask if I have enough computers to display things to them?
